On-line COD measuring systems for the continuous and automatic determination of the chemical oxygen demand (COD) in wastewater or process water for one measuring point. Continuous COD measurement for monitoring and control.

This method works without dangerous or caustic substances. There is no disposal of analysis residues, cleaning solutions or harmful reagents. The highest operating safety and easiest processing is guaranteed at all times.

Analytics consist of a reactor vessel with magnetic stirrer with a Leaddioxyde-, reference-, and counter electrode, 3 peristaltic pumps for defined supply of sample, the electrolyte concentrate, the regeneration
solution and/or the calibration standard solution, magnetic pinch valves for the selection of sample and reagent flows in the analytical part.

Control/evaluation unit with industrial PC, menu- driven, self- explaining software with integrated help files, plausibility check, splash- water- protected keypad, 8,4 '' Graphic-LCD- screen, presentation of the actual measuring values in table form, displaying of the calibration values, daily protocols, data storage for one year. Memory card with the operation software for an automatic start up of the system in case of power interuption or discontinuously usage.

Sample preparation

Option FlowSampler:
The FlowSampler is used for filtration-free sample preparation for continuous measurement systems by mass separation, a free maintenance and a blockage-free device. The sample will be led through the FlowSampler and drawn off through a thin-walled pipe against the direction of the mainflow.
